MULTICULTURAL EXCELLENCE PROGRAM
The Multicultural Excellence Program (MEP) develops students' personal and academic skills, enriches students' cultural awareness, and helps students make education and career-related choices.

MEP 2002 HIGHLIGHTS


102 Mentors and guests & 235 Students attended the 2002 Mentor Recognition Banquet. St. Paul Public Schools Board Members: Toni Carter, Elona Street-Stewart and Neal Thao, provided excellent keynote addresses.

Approximately 1,500 students in grades 7-12 participate each year with a capacity of 220 students per grade. There are over 900 MEP students currently in college programs.
