COLLEGE ENCOURAGEMENT PROGRAM

The College Encouragement Program (CEP) develops students' personal and academic skills, enriches students' cultural awareness, and helps students make education and career-related choices.

CEP 2001 HIGHLIGHTS


The 2nd Annual CEP Mentor Recognition Banquet was very successful. 225 Students, mentors and guests attended. Horace Allen president of Total Solutions Group was an outstanding keynote speaker. Our thanks go to him for sharing his wisdom and insights.

The 2000-2001 school year saw over 344 students interacting with 25 mentors. Special thanks to CEP coordinator Joe Groves, MMO Board member Patricia Mack, Minneapolis Superintendent Carol Johnson, the school liaisons and last but not least all the parents that put so much effort into this program.
